The Sumatra Rainforest Eco Retreat has 3 private bungalows with comfortable innerspring beds, fans, ensuite bathrooms with western flushing toilets, a table and chairs and and balcony with double hammock. Please note the showers are cold water only, as there is no hot water in the jungle, you will find this very refreshing after a day in the tropical jungle.
Our beautiful rainforest bungalows are surrounded by jungle with frequent visits from silver monkeys, macaques and thomas leaf monkeys and the occasional orangutan swinging by as you relax and unwind.
Its a short cave walk to our secluded natural spring fed pool, where you can float around in a tube or relax under a thatched shelter with a good book.

Our Sumatra Rainforest Eco Retreat is the perfect place to sit, relax, unwind and immerse yourself in nature. We offer guests treks, conservation activities, cultural activities such as carving, Indonesian cooking lessons and opportunities to help teach the local children English.
Or just sit by the river, listen to the sounds of the jungle and read a book.
